Uncle dewel

I wish I could forget

Forget your demeanor

Forget that dream

where you told me that everything was going to be okay

that it wouldn’t hurt anymore

Because you lied

You lied to me by leaving

I don’t want to remember the last movie we watched together

I don’t want to remember the way you slicked your hair back

I don’t want to remember you

I don’t want to continue replaying the way your hand felt in mine

The way your crippled hand made me feel as if one touch from me could break you

I don’t want the last words that I understood from you to be happy birthday

And I don’t want the muffled I love you to be our last exchange of words

I’m really sorry for your loss, but rather than trying hard to forget him. Just let the flow of time take care of it and soon you will cherish all those memories.
Don’t make those memories a nightmare for yourself, it should be the other way around they should bring a smile to your face…:)

I read your post and a deep sense of melancholy, sensitivity and strength flowed through your words. writing helps to express the bottled up pain!!! simply loved your writing and delighted to come across your blog.
